With so many events going on in and around Seattle, how do you decide which ones to attend? Let me make a few suggestions:
Did you know that the nation’s largest single-region wine & food event happens right here in Seattle? Yup, that’s right! Taste Washington will take place over 2 days at the Century Link Field Event Center on March 29th & 30th. With over 40 participating restaurants and 200+ wineries, you basically need both days to get through them all. Buy a one-day pass if you’d like, but I suggest the 2-day pass. Get your tickets here, or find more information on Taste Washington here.
This is the LAST week for Dine Around Seattle! Grab a 3-course dinner Sunday-Thursday evening for $30 or a 3-course lunch Sunday-Friday for $15. With 60 restaurants to choose from, Dine Around is a great opportunity to try out that restaurant you’ve been eying, without breaking the bank. My dinner recommendation: Restaurant Zoe. Lunch? Try one of my staple favorites, Blueacre Seafood. Make your plans before the week is over!
I know this event is still a couple of weeks out, but I wanted to give you ample time to mark your calendar and grab a ticket, because it’s a good one. Lunafest, the fundraising film festival dedicated to promoting awareness about women’s issues, highlighting women filmmakers, and bringing women together in their communities, will be hosted by LUNA Bar at 415 Westlake on April 15th. Not only will your ticket benefit the Breast Cancer Fund and local Seattle nonprofit Reel Grrls, you will be treated to 9 short films, food and beverages for the evening, beauty blowouts and a swanky swag bag. Grab a few of your girlfriends and enjoy a GNO while supporting a great cause! See you there!
